Moving house sucks.by Dan Satherley

You know what sucks harder than disco? Moving house.

I distinctly remember a time when all it took to relocate was two hours’ packing and a dozen beers for the use of a mate’s car and lifting prowess. Read more

Superstitions centre around an irrational belief that a specific object, action, or circumstance will indirectly influence the outcome of certain events that occur thereafter. Read more

The fights are scripted, the acting is cheesy and the lycra speedos are vomit-inducing.

Terms of endearment

terms-of-endearment

by Jane SissonsLove hearts

Many would think this was the vocabulary of a two-year-old, but, unfortunately, it’s what many people in relationships call one another.

Why do we need to express our feelings for someone by inventing horrendously childish and embarrassing nicknames? Read more

Brain-training could help young drivers

brain-training-could-help-young-drivers

by Grace HonneyDriver Training

Ever wondered why car insurance companies drop their exorbitant rates from the age of 25?

the-big-oe

by Becky TappinNew Zealand passports

As my University days are numbered,  like many others I begin to wonder what we will do with our newfound freedom.

Not smoking is a real drag

not-smoking-is-a-real-drag

by Vaughan LovellNo smoking sign

I am a smoker.

Yep, a dirty, filthy, reviled creature who lurks in wind-less corners in the winter, puffing on cigarettes which contain more harmful ingredients than a molotov cocktail.

So I tried to quit just recently, and it went absolutely great - that is if you make money from tobacco sales. Read more
