Christmas already?

Christmas is just around the corner.

Well, not like just right around the corner, it’s 90 days away.

That leaves us with 90 days to get our A into G before the big red fella leaves us some goodies under our tree.

Some of you might be thinking, isn’t it a tad early to be getting excited about Christmas? Well, not so if The Wharehouse has anything to do with it.

This week the place “where everyone gets a bargain” started their displays for Christmas.

At first I thought my eyes were lying to me when I saw a Barbie advent calendar and then Christmas lights next to a reindeer decoration.

It only felt like last week it was Easter. I love Easter eggs.

Sure enough it was all real – Christmas preparations had began and it got me into the mood of Christmas.

The selling of Christmas just gets earlier and earlier. Is it to hype us up to start spending our dough now? Most definitely. Santa can’t give you everything you want. You’ve got to buy it – the old fashioned way.

Christmas lights were on special, 100 for only $9.99. They are always a good item to have to kick of the spirit of Christmas.

I didn’t buy any though, my Christmas lights are still up from last year. I liked the look of them at night so I left them hanging in the lounge.

A fake 8ft Christmas tree was selling at a price roll back of $12.50. Price roll back is possibly the greatest deal a keen shopper can ever get.

It means that what you’re paying for this item will never go back to its original higher price; it will stay at the new lower price – the price roll back.

But who really wants to spend all their piggy bank savings on presents? Isn’t that what Santa is for?

As I’m counting down the days, Santa is working overtime to reward us boys and girls with gifts.

So make sure you get your advent calendar for $2.99 and try not to eat chocolates in advance.

Remember, Santa is watching.
