Does my butt look big in this? Now you’ll know

Phoenix shoppers worried how their butt may look in new jeans will have to worry no more.

Hub Clothing has just installed a Butt Cam - a perfectly positioned camera that connects to a video screen on dressing room walls, allowing shoppers to view their behind without turning ’round.

Hub co-owner Tom Simon came up with the Butt Cam after watching customers constantly twist and turn in front of mirrors to check out their rear ends.

“They want to look good to other people, not just themselves,” Simon said. “And even though it seems ridiculous, there’s nothing you wear more than jeans.”

One legged father aims for 100 children

A one legged father of 78 from Dubai is set to marry two more women so he can reach his target of 100 children by 2015, Emirates Today reported on Monday.

The 60-year-old, Daad Mohammed Murad Abdul Rahman has already had 15 wives but has to divorce them as he goes along to remain within the legal limit of four wives at a time.

“In 2015 I will be 68 years old and will have 100 children,” the local tabloid quoted Abdul Rahman as saying.

Currently Abdul Raham’s oldest child is 36 and the youngest is only 20 days old. Two of his existing three wives are also pregnant.

Couple tried to name baby ‘@’

A Chinese couple tried to name their baby ‘@’, saying the character used in e-mail addresses echoed their love for the child, a Chinese language official said on Thursday.

The odd name stands out, even amongst the many Chinese language symbols.

“The whole work uses it to write e-mails, and translated into Chinese it means ‘love him’,” the father explained, according to the deputy chief of the State Language Commission Li Yuming.

Li told a news conference on the state of the Chinese language that the name was an extreme example of people’s increasingly adventurous approach to Chinese, as commercialisation and the Internet has broken down conventions.

Young fisherman fishes up a human

A 13-year-old boy fishing in the Netherlands delivered the catch of the day when his hook caught a nearby diver’s lip.

“I heard a sound on my head and immediately I felt a jerk on my lip,” Wim van Huffelen, who had been swimming in the North Sea, was quoted as saying by Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

The diver had been swimming close to the shore near the southern Dutch town of Zierikzee.

A doctor eventually managed to free him from the hook.
