Following the huge success of his gig DUSK at Coherant on Friday night, local talent DJ Shaveer admits he feels there is a hole in his life.

A hole he says he’s never been so motivated to fill.

“As a clubbing event there’s definitely going to be more to come on events where it costs less to get a good value event… at least a few times in a year,” he says.

The event went off without a hitch and Shaveer was well received by the crowd; the dance floor taking on a new lease of life as soon as he performed his first mix for the night.

Shaveer lapped up the whistles and applause from the crowd and he admits he was floating on a cloud for hours after the event finished.

“The whole night went too fast,” he says.

“I’m very appreciative to the people I’ve met and who’ve helped me out,” he says.

Shaveer hopes to have more projects under the same name or similar idea to follow up on the DUSK event.

“Personally the time I put it in is very well repaid in terms of seeing people happy and enjoying doing different things, and meeting awesome people.”
