Papuan activists appeal to NZ over human rights

West Papuan activists are asking the New Zealand government for help to end human rights abuses in the Indonesian-ruled Pacific province of Papua.

The president of the Fellowship of Baptist Churches of Papua, Rev Socratez Sofyan Yoman, says NZ has a humanitarian responsibility to begin talks with Indonesia.
